DESCRIPTION:Cats is a sung-through British musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber\, based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot\, and produced by Cameron Mackintosh. \nThe musical tells the story of a tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as “the Jellicle choice” and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life. \nCats introduced the song standard “Memory”. DESCRIPTION:This year at The Deco in Northampton we are very excited to be producing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS. \nThe course week runs 13th August – 18th August with two performances on the final day. There will also be some pre-course Saturday rehearsals in July; exact dates of these are still TBC. \nThe course is open to anyone aged 7-21 and we look forward to seeing many of those that have joined us for Annie\, Legally Blonde and Musical Mayhem in the past as well as lots of new faces.
