Please accept our sincere apologies and please stay safe \nWelcome to enchanted Trumptonia; a land of fairies\, unicorns and dragons where once upon a time\, a princess is born. Spurned at the celebration party\, malevolent wicked fairy Carabosse casts an evil spell which changes the Princess’s life forever. Will Princess Tahlia take charge of her own destiny? \nIn true Deco Theatre style\, that brings West End values at affordable prices\, this spellbinding spectacular family pantomime will be packed with colourful characters\, knockabout comedy\, show-stopping musical routines\, magic and sparkle\, played out in our beautiful Art Deco Theatre. Treat yourself and your loved ones to a fabulous fairy tale treat for 2020 Christmas season! \nPlease note: \nThe role of King Hansan will be played by Kevin Roach for all the performances on 21st December 2020  \nThe performance on 22nd December 2020 at 10.00am will be a relaxed show\, which means that the performance will be adapted in a number of ways to reduce anxiety and create a supportive atmosphere\, including adjusting light and sound levels\, providing ‘chill-out’ areas and demonstrating an embracing attitude towards audience noise and movement in the auditorium.. \nWhat to expect …. \nAs you are all  aware\, we will be required to adhere to social distancing measures this year in order to keep our audience\, our staff and our cast safe.    This will mean that we will have to make some changes to our normal pantomime format in order to ensure that we comply to government guidance we will make the following changes: \n•The show will last 1 hour 20 mins and there will be no interval\, just the right length for a festive family treat but without the break in between\, which would make social distance planning a little tricky.\n•There will be a smaller cast and less children taking part as everyone needs to be tested\, and have individual dressing rooms and we must keep cast and crew safe and well.\n•We will ask you to take you and your parties temperature before you leave home and if you or any member of your party are experiencing any symptoms\, however mildly\, we ask that you stay at home and we will reschedule your visit.\n•Your temperature will be taken on arrival at the theatre and providing everything is within the normal range\, you will be directed to your seats\, there will be no waiting in bar areas.\n•Should we record an abnormal temperature we will ask you and your party to return home and we will reschedule your visit once everyone has had a negative test.\n•There will be a one-way system throughout the theatre and the lift will only be for use by guests with a disability.\n•We ask that no prams or buggy’s are brought into the theatre.\n•Face coverings will be required in line with government directives\n•There will be a contactless bag search on arrival we therefore also ask that bags are kept to a minimum.\n•In order that social distancing can be achieved we will on the busier dates need to increase the number of performances\, it maybe that we have to change the time of your booking\, and seats numbers but we will\, where possible aim to keep you in the same area that you have booked.\n•We ask where possible that drinks\, snacks\, popcorn\, hotdogs etc. are pre-purchased and there will be a number of ‘click and collect’ points throughout the theatre.\n•In the event of a ‘local lockdown’ or general directive from government that the show cannot go ahead we will reschedule your visit to a later date in the run if possible or transfer your booking to Panto 2021.  \nFinally\, we also acknowledge that there will be a number of guests that have purchased tickets for this year  and are nervous about attending\, please don’t worry we have decided as a gesture of goodwill\, to reschedule anyone or indeed if some of your party wish to attend and others do not\, to panto 2021.   \nAt this stage we will transfer you to the same day that you have booked this year i.e. the Sunday before Christmas\, first night\, Christmas eve etc. then if you need to re-jig later we be more than happy to rearrange once we are back to normal in the new year. \nWe are working throughout August\, to ensure all guests that have pre-booked already are rescheduled/re-seated as required. During this time\, we are closing the show for new sales and it will be put back on general sale on 1st September.  \nWe thank you as always for your understanding and patience and very much look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre.

Hansel and Gretel aren’t greedy; they just want a better life for themselves and their father. \nTheir lives are turned upside down with the arrival of an unwelcome visitor – who\, thanks to a handful of breadcrumbs\, eventually leads the way to a woodland adventure with a large cottage built of gingerbread and cakes\, with window panes of clear sugar. \nThe occupant of the cottage promises soft beds and delicious food…but it would appear that she has other plans! This show is ideal for families with children aged 3 and upwards but warning – it may contain witches!!
