SUMMARY:Absolutely Fabulous-Dining Experience
DESCRIPTION:The girls are all attending a Gala\, Saffy having been dragged along\, only to arrive and find out that they are not on the guest list.  They try various means of entering the party\, only to get hideously drunk and be thrown out. \nThe evening starts in the bar area at 7.30pm with Patsy\, Eddie and Saffy mingling with the guests\, Saffy trying to keep control of the situation as Patsy and Eddie are generally making a nuisance of them selves taking peoples drinks ect. \nSaffy comes back with the seating plan and they realise they are not invited\, so they decide to sneak in by pretending to be part of the staff. \nDuring the food serving\, Eddie and Patsy (Eddie dragging Saffy in) enter with pinnies on\, putting down a plate or two and then trying to steal unoccupied seats or even push guests out of their chairs/sit on knees.  Try to sit next to\, and make a huge deal about the ‘famous’ person they invented earlier. If they get a seat\, then they decided that they don’t like the seats “These idiots aren’t famous enough for us” and move off. Saffy actually helps with the serving and chatting with the guests. \nThe actresses continue in the same manner throughout the evening\, discarding the pinnies and  recreating some of the iconic sketches from the series\, coming together after the dessert has been served to encourage the guests to join in singing the theme song from the show Wheels on Fire. \nThree of the best actresses in the land give a performance that will not be forgotten\, adult humour is involved.\nMenu\nChoice of:\nPrawn cocktail\nMelon Crown with summer fruits\n**\nFresh Farm Turkey\nStuffing\nSausages wrapped in bacon\nCranberry Sauce and Gravy\nOr\nNut Roast With Cranberry and Port Glaze \nSeasonal Vegetables\n**\nSherry Trifle\nChristmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce\n**\nCoffee and Mince Pies

Moving into music hall\, he appeared in many specialist music hall and variety shows. He was one of the regular performers at Vincent Hayes’ pub\, the Lord Hood in the 1980’s and was one of the first to appear on stage at the newly opened Brick Lane Music Hall in Brick Lane in 1992. Peter has appeared in more than 30 pantomimes\, famously performing dame at The City Varieties\, Leeds\, for many years. \nIn recent years Peter has concentrated on music hall and variety and is a regular performer in music hall shows all over the country\, including\, we are happy to say\, Brick Lane Music Hall. \nLinda studied at the Guildhall School of Music. She went on to make her name in the field of popular classics\, starring in BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night\, Songs from the Shows and Melodies For You\, as well as singing in Gala Shows and Concerts with the BBC Concert Orchestra. \nTouring extensively with the Magic of the Musicals\, Opera and Operetta\, her singing has taken her around the world. Concert and theatre performances take her from the West End to all parts of the British Isles\, appearing in many of the country’s leading Theatres and Concert Halls with choirs and orchestras and on nationwide tours with many top British stars. \nShe has recorded a number of albums\, has recently concluded a national tour with her shows Some Enchanted Evening and The 3 Sopranos\, and still finds time to take part in shows for Brick Lane Music Hall on a regular basis. \nRichard is a comedian and an actor whose interests in music hall\, silent film and variety have inspired much of his career\, ranging from circus\, West End musicals\, opera and variety. He is a regular at The Leeds City Varieties and The Player’s Theatre\, as well as Brick Lane Music Hall. \nRichard first appeared in the musical Barnum\, originally in Manchester\, then the West End and going on to the National tour\, eventually taking over the title role of P.T.Barnum himself. Since then he has made regular appearances in musicals\, theatre and opera\, including such notable roles as Lefou in the original cast of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Timon in the Lion King\, not to mention Leopold with the ENO in Der Rosenkavalier. \nRichard has also appeared in film and on television\, from the Sooty Show for CBBC to a baddie in Dr Who. Richard tours extensively\, appearing in pantomime and variety around the country with his unique array of entertaining speciality acts. \nLaurence studied trombone and piano at the Royal Academy of Music. His theatrical career started at the Kenneth More Theatre\, Ilford\, where he was Musical Director for nineteen consecutive pantomime seasons\, as well as many other shows. Pantomimes and Music Hall tours followed. \nFor many years Laurence was resident Musical Director and arranger at Brick Lane Music Hall. He has travelled all over Britain\, with shows ranging from Rock n’ Roll compilations to the very English Salad Days\, and as far afield as Hong Kong. Whether you’re Deaf\, Hard of Hearing\, Deafened\, Deafblind or know someone who is come and see all of the services\, organisations and activities on offer.\nThe daytime between 10:00-16:00 (Free Entry) has a number of stallholders from organisations run for or by Deaf people. There will also be a range of children’s activities such as cake decorating and facepainting as well as two workshops for families from the fantastic Punk Chef who will be doing a family cooking demo and Richard Carter doing a children’s British Sign Language Poetry Workshop that will be fun for all the family. \nFrom 19:00-Midnight (Tickets Only) there will be an over 16’s only performance from 3 acts all delivering in British Sign Language. (Subtitles and Voiceover Available) \nOur Headline Act John Smith- has been performing his sell out comedy routines across the world for many years and has found world wide recognition for his standup that covers topics such as Current Deaf Issues\, Deaf Politics and school life. \nRichard Carter – “is one of the UK’s foremost Deaf BSL Poets with many original Sign Language poems\, stories and performances…” He has performed all over the world at many different events. \nRinkoo Barpaga- ‘Being a born and bred Deaf British Sign Language user\, Rinkoo leads us through the unknown world of Mars (aka the Deaf World) through highly amusing and often eye opening anecdotes of his life.” After learning his trade in the US Rinkoo has now performed at a number of sell out locations in the UK.
