SUMMARY:The Frankie Valli Story – "Working My Way Back To You Tour 2020"
DESCRIPTION:Live on Stage \nFollowing a hugely successful six-years or so in theatres\, Stephen James has built an undeniable reputation as the UK’s most authentic Frankie Valli impersonator ever. Frankie’s own Musical Director of 40 years\, Robby Robinson\, was moved to say “Wow” after hearing Stephen sing at the o2 show in 2018. \nThere are other tribute shows\, most of which perform Jersey Boys influenced arrangements. However\, if you want a sound\, that when you close your eyes\, you imagine you are listening to the real thing\, for many\, there is only one guy who delivers this in the UK today\, and that is the sensational Stephen James. \nThe Frankie Valli Story\, is an intimate\, heartfelt story show to one of the greatest bands of all time\, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. Set against a cleverly-designed video stage backdrop and with the use of engaging narrative\, prepare to be taken on a journey from the beginnings of 1962 with the first three consecutive No.1 singles Sherry\, Big Girls Don’t Cry & Walk Like A Man. \nThe show ends in 1978\, with the last mega-hit Grease (is the word) taking the world by storm. What happens in between is a rollercoaster of ups and downs\, with one constant – THE HITS! Lets Hang On\, Working My Way Back To You\, Ragdoll\, Beggin\, Cant Take My Eyes Off You\, December 63 (Oh What A Night)\, My Eyes Adored You\, and so many more\, make this a must-see show. \nFor this particular tour\, super-talented lead guitarist Chris Birch has been head hunted. Chris has been advised by none other than Basil Fung (Frankie Valli’s guitarist)\, and the sound is exactly as you would expect at a Frankie Valli concert today. \nWith respect\, this is not a Jersey Boys tribute show. This is a brilliantly unique Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons story show. Expect concert recreations\, original keys and arrangements. \nPLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS SHOW THERE IS A STRONG POSSIBILITY THAT PEOPLE MAY STAND UP AND DANCE AROUND YOU AND IN FRONT OF YOU \nDon’t take our word for it… \nThe Telegraph – “As close to Frankie Valli as you can get without seeing the man himself…” \nUK Four Seasons Appreciation Society – “Great show…thoroughly enjoyed it!” \n4 Seasons Memorabilia – “We’ve seen loads of tribute shows\, but this has got to be the best!” \nPLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TRIBUTE SHOW.

SUMMARY:South Pacific
DESCRIPTION:Cinema Screening \nSome enchanted evening\, you may meet a stranger… It’s 1943 in the Solomon Islands. World War II is still raging\, and the US Navy has established several bases in this corner of the South Pacific in order to press towards New Guinea and the Central Pacific. \nOne night Nellie Forbush (Mitzi Gaynor)\, a US nurse\, meets Emile de Becque (Rossano Brazzi)\, a French painter who lives near one of the bases\, and a whirlwind romance begins. When Nellie finds out that the mother of Emile’s children was a native of the island\, she turns down his proposal of marriage\, unable to overcome the prejudices she was raised with. \nIn the meantime\, Lieutenant Cable (John Kerr) has arrived on a mission to set up a spy post on a nearby island that is occupied by the Japanese. He\, too\, gets involved in a romance that is star-crossed by nothing more than prejudice: he refuses to marry innocent island girl Liat (France Nuyen) despite the girl’s willingness and her mother’s insistent matchmaking attempts. He hates himself for turning the girl down\, and admits that his aversion to marriage to a woman from another culture is not natural: You have to be carefully taught. \nCable\, with the reluctant help of de Becque\, who has been pressured into assisting\, begins his spy mission on the Japanese island. When things go wrong\, Cable is killed\, but de Becque survives and returns to the waiting arms of a very relieved Nellie\, who finally agrees to marry Emile. SOUTH PACIFIC features such classic songs as Some Enchanted Evening\, There is Nothing Like a Dame\, Bali-H’ai and I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair. \nThe film won an Oscar for Best Sound\, and was nominated for Best Music (Scoring of a Musical Picture) and Best Colour Cinematography. \nThree showings 12 noon\, 2.45pm and 5.30pm\nFilm only £5.50\nFilm and Afternoon Tea £15 – seated in the stalls

SUMMARY:Sleeping Beauty Christmas 2020!
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 17th December 2020 – Following the Governments review on the tier system we are unfortunately unable to accept bookings from customers that have moved into in a tier 3 area . We will be contacting existing customers who are not effected by the changes over the next few days. Please accept our sincere apologies and please stay safe \nWelcome to enchanted Trumptonia; a land of fairies\, unicorns and dragons where once upon a time\, a princess is born. Spurned at the celebration party\, malevolent wicked fairy Carabosse casts an evil spell which changes the Princess’s life forever. Will Princess Tahlia take charge of her own destiny? \nIn true Deco Theatre style\, that brings West End values at affordable prices\, this spellbinding spectacular family pantomime will be packed with colourful characters\, knockabout comedy\, show-stopping musical routines\, magic and sparkle\, played out in our beautiful Art Deco Theatre. Treat yourself and your loved ones to a fabulous fairy tale treat for 2020 Christmas season! \nPlease note: \nThe role of King Hansan will be played by Kevin Roach for all the performances on 21st December 2020 \nThe performance on 22nd December 2020 at 10.00am will be a relaxed show\, which means that the performance will be adapted in a number of ways to reduce anxiety and create a supportive atmosphere\, including adjusting light and sound levels\, providing ‘chill-out’ areas and demonstrating an embracing attitude towards audience noise and movement in the auditorium.. \nWhat to expect …. \nAs you are all aware\, we will be required to adhere to social distancing measures this year in order to keep our audience\, our staff and our cast safe. This will mean that we will have to make some changes to our normal pantomime format in order to ensure that we comply to government guidance we will make the following changes: \n•The show will last 1 hour 20 mins and there will be no interval\, just the right length for a festive family treat but without the break in between\, which would make social distance planning a little tricky.\n•There will be a smaller cast and less children taking part as everyone needs to be tested\, and have individual dressing rooms and we must keep cast and crew safe and well.\n•We will ask you to take you and your parties temperature before you leave home and if you or any member of your party are experiencing any symptoms\, however mildly\, we ask that you stay at home and we will reschedule your visit.\n•Your temperature will be taken on arrival at the theatre and providing everything is within the normal range\, you will be directed to your seats\, there will be no waiting in bar areas.\n•Should we record an abnormal temperature we will ask you and your party to return home and we will reschedule your visit once everyone has had a negative test.\n•There will be a one-way system throughout the theatre and the lift will only be for use by guests with a disability.\n•We ask that no prams or buggy’s are brought into the theatre.\n•Face coverings will be required in line with government directives\n•There will be a contactless bag search on arrival we therefore also ask that bags are kept to a minimum.\n•In order that social distancing can be achieved we will on the busier dates need to increase the number of performances\, it maybe that we have to change the time of your booking\, and seats numbers but we will\, where possible aim to keep you in the same area that you have booked.\n•We ask where possible that drinks\, snacks\, popcorn\, hotdogs etc. are pre-purchased and there will be a number of ‘click and collect’ points throughout the theatre.\n•In the event of a ‘local lockdown’ or general directive from government that the show cannot go ahead we will reschedule your visit to a later date in the run if possible or transfer your booking to Panto 2021. \nFinally\, we also acknowledge that there will be a number of guests that have purchased tickets for this year and are nervous about attending\, please don’t worry we have decided as a gesture of goodwill\, to reschedule anyone or indeed if some of your party wish to attend and others do not\, to panto 2021. \nAt this stage we will transfer you to the same day that you have booked this year i.e. the Sunday before Christmas\, first night\, Christmas eve etc. then if you need to re-jig later we be more than happy to rearrange once we are back to normal in the new year. \nWe are working throughout August\, to ensure all guests that have pre-booked already are rescheduled/re-seated as required. During this time\, we are closing the show for new sales and it will be put back on general sale on 1st September. \nWe thank you as always for your understanding and patience and very much look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre.

SUMMARY:Pitch Perfect
DESCRIPTION:Cinema Screening \nBeca (Anna Kendrick) is that girl who’d rather listen to what’s coming out of her headphones than what’s coming out of you. Arriving at her new college\, she finds herself not right for any clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own: alongside mean girls\, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good they sound when they sing together\, in the new out-loud comedy PITCH PERFECT. When Beca takes this acoustic singing group out of their world of traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mash-ups\, they fight to climb their way to the top of the cutthroat world of college a cappella. This could wind up either the coolest thing they’ll ever do or the most insane\, and it will probably be a little of both. Loaded with new takes on old favorites to hits of right now that are seamlessly mixed together\, mashed-up and arranged like you’ve never heard before\, PITCH PERFECT is directed by Jason Moore\, who opened our eyes to the very misbehaved life of puppets in the surprise Broadway sensation Avenue Q. \nDetails \nDirector(s): \nJason Moore \nRuntime: \n112 \nCertification: \n12 \nProduction Year: \n2012 \nCinema Date: \n21/12/2012 \nDistributor: \nUniversal Pictures \nCast: \nAnna Camp\, Anna Kendrick\, Alexis Knapp\, Christopher Mintz-Plasse\, Brittany Snow
