Ice Skating Terms and Conditions


Please read these rules, terms and conditions carefully before purchasing your skating session.


Terms & Conditions:

  • No bags are to be taken onto the ice rink.
  • No bags over A4 will be allowed into the skating area.
  • Any personal possessions are left at your own risk.
  • Skating sessions are for 45 minutes.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your session starts.
  • Ice skates are included.
  • Skating is entirely at your own risk. iSkate will not be responsible for any loss, damage, harm or injury sustained by any skater or spectator.
  • Uniformed groups includes groups such as Scouts, Cadets, Brownies, Girl Guides etc.
  • All children under the age of 13 years must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
  • The family of 4 ticket is valid for 2 adults and 2 children between the ages of 5-13 years old.

Rules of the Rink:

To make the Ice Rink a fun and enjoyable experience for all, please read and follow these simple guidelines:

DON’T:

  • Don’t skate whilst pregnant.
  • Don’t sit or climb over the safety barrier.
  • Don’t chip or throw any ice.
  • Don’t skate at excessive speed.
  • Don’t smoke, drink, or eat on the ice.
  • Don’t drop litter on the ice.
  • Don’t carry babies or young children on the ice.
  • Don’t skate in chains of more than two.
  • Don’t wear scarves or loose clothing that may become entangled with other skaters.
  • Don’t carry any loose articles (including cameras and phones) or bags on the ice.
  • Don’t cut across the middle of the rink.
  • Don’t play tag.
  • Don’t consume alcohol before skating.

DO:

  • Do arrive 15 minutes before your skating session to get kitted out with skates.
  • Do make sure that your skates fit well and are correctly tightened.
  • Do wear gloves.
  • Do skate in an anti-clockwise direction only.

Obey instructions from the rink staff and have fun!


Skating Aids £5 for 45 minutes!

  • Skating aids must be booked when booking your skating session (please ensure you select the same times)
  • Availability is limited per session for safety reasons.
  • Penguins are for use by young children only, under 1.2m or under the age of 10.
  • We cannot reserve any penguins unless already booked with your ticket online.

Ticket Terms & Conditions:

  • Tickets are valid for the date and time specified. It is your responsibility to check your tickets and skating aid tickets as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Tickets must not be resold. Failure to comply will make this ticket void.
  • Event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or attendance to any visitor who do not comply with the rules and regulations above.
  • Admission for latecomers cannot be guaranteed, although offered wherever possible.
  • Event organisers reserve the right to make any alterations to an advertised event. Where an event is cancelled ticket holders will be offered either tickets for a rescheduled date (subject to availability) up to the face value of the original tickets, or if the ticket holder is unable to attend the rescheduled event, a refund of the ticket face value.
  • By attending this event, ticket holders consent to being photographed or filmed by the event organisers. This may then be used for the purposes of marketing and publicity.

High Risk Groups:

  • Pregnant women.
  • Anyone with a heart condition.
  • Tickets must not be resold. Failure to comply will make this ticket void.
  • Very young children – Age restrictions apply
