The Wizard of Oz 2026
✨ Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Fantastic Fun! ✨
Join us this Christmas for a magical, hilarious and heartwarming pantomime adventure: The Wizard of Oz!
When a tornado sweeps Dorothy and her beloved dog Toto away to the magical Land of Oz, they set off along the Yellow Brick Road in search of the mysterious Wizard who can help them find their way home. Along the way, they meet a lovable Scarecrow, a tender-hearted Tin Man and a shy Lion, but their journey is far from easy. With the Wicked Witch of the West hot on their heels, Dorothy and her friends must discover that courage, friendship and a little bit of sparkle can save the day.
This year’s spectacular cast includes Liam Fox, best known for playing Dan Spencer in ITV’s Emmerdale, as the mysterious and mystical Wizard. He is joined by Old Savoy favourites Colin Ridgewell as the Cowardly Lion and Chris Wills as the Wicked Witch of the West.
That Joe Payne takes on the role of the Tin Man, Fern Roach returns as Glinda the Good Witch, and following a Northamptonshire-wide search, Hannah Digby makes her debut as Dorothy Gale. Mark Jones is back as the hilarious Scarecrow, as well as writing and directing this year’s production.
Packed with dazzling choreography, sing-along songs, spectacular magic and plenty of comedy, The Wizard of Oz is the perfect festive treat for the whole family.
So, whether you take the Yellow Brick Road, the Kettering Road or the Wellingborough Road, make your way to The Old Savoy this Christmas and join Dorothy, Toto and friends on a journey over the rainbow!
Trust your head, your heart and your courage – and don’t miss The Wizard of Oz!
Please note our relaxed performance will be the afternoon performance 13.30pm on Tuesday 22nd December!
