The London Military Band is a stunning and unique wind ensemble consisting of off-duty professional serving military musicians and musicians trained at the Royal College of Music.
Allan Shellard, former musician from the Grenadier Guards, conducts the London Military Band in this spectacular traditional Christmas concert for all the family. A unique wind ensemble made up of off-duty professional serving military musicians will take to the stage in stunning reproductions of Grenadier costumes, to recreate the traditional military band experience of the past. They will be joined by Jazz vocalist Emily Dankworth.
In Emily’s career she has performed live at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, The Barbican Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Centre, (NYC), Boston Symphony Hall, The National Center for Performing Arts, (Beijing), The Elgar Room, Kings Place and has been featured on BBC Radio and BBC Television including The Paul O’Grady Show, BBC Radio 2, The One Show, BBC One ,The Choir, BBC Radio 3, Ronnie Scotts’ Radio Show, JAZZ FM and Jamie Cullum’s Radio Show.
