Welcome to Goose Farm, where Mother Goose her silly son Wally are the proud owners of the magical Priscilla! That is until Demon Vanity arrives in town and convinces Mother Goose to sell Priscilla in return for eternal good looks… Will Mother Goose fall foul of Demon Vanity’s Wicked Ways? Will Wally be able to win the heart of the farm hand Jill? And will the magical Fairy get Priscilla back to Goose Farm in time for tea? Anton Benson Productions return with another EGGcellent Easter Panto full of some, dance, splendid sets, colourful costumes and lots and lots of laughs.

The Story of Mother Goose

Mother Goose is a traditional family panto with all your favourite panto characters: the silly comic, a loveable dame, the magical fairy, princess Jill (just like in Jack and the Beanstalk), the baddie who you love to boo, and in our version, King Basil Brush of Pantoland!

The story is centred around the poor, kind-hearted Dame, Mother Goose who runs Goose farm with her son Silly Billy and their prized goose, Priscilla.

The Good Fairy rewards Mother Goose’s kindness by casting a spell to make Priscilla lay golden eggs. However, Demon Vanity (the baddie) wagers that he can turn the pure-of-heart Mother Goose wicked through greed and vanity. He tricks Mother Goose into selling Priscilla in return for eternal youth and beauty… and soon Mother Goose’s whole personality transforms.

It’s up to Billy Goose, Princess Jill and King Basil to make Mother Goose see that beauty and riches cannot buy happiness… as they all set off to rescue the beloved Priscilla!

Join us for for an all-singing, all-dancing, laugh-a-minute ride through panto land, full of fun and frolics for all the family!
