Richard and Karen Carpenter were undoubtedly one of America’s most loved vocal legends. Now, British musicians from the legendary Moody Blues (drummer Gordy Marshall) and 10cc (singer Mick Wilson) have brought together two of the very best vocalists and instrumentalists in the country to create the ultimate tribute to the greatest brother and sister duo of a generation. Classic songs such as Yesterday Once More, We’ve Only Just Begun and Top of the World are beautifully recreated live and they sound as close to the original recordings as you will ever hear.
THE BRITISH CARPENTERS, Sally Creedon (Karen) and Ryan Alex Farmery (Richard), backed by an exceptional band of the finest session musicians are a joy to watch and listen to as they deliver the distinct, soft musical style of Karen’s contralto vocals alongside Richard’s arrangements and composition.
Sally Creedon has been performing since the age of 12 all over the world and on television. Her most famous audience members include Sharon Osborne, Simon Cowell, Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones to name but a few. Ryan Alex Farmery has toured with Natalie Imbruglia, Sam Bailey, The Jacksons and Simply Red. He has also performed with ABC, Anastacia, Emeli Sandé, Seal, Beverley Knight, Gregory Porter, James Blunt, Melanie C (Spice Girls), ABC, Rick Astley, George Ezra, James Morrison, Jack Savoretti, Ronan Keating, Lemar, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Kim Wilde, Rebecca Ferguson, Joe McElderry, James Fox and Kerry Ellis.
