Fun cycle ride Get on your bikes on Sunday 17th July and take part in a gentle, safe and fun cycle ride away from the roads on off-road cycle tracks and bridleways.

The route is perfect for young and old, families, groups of friends or workmates and those new to cycling. It has been specifically designed to be suitable for able riders aged 7 plus (aged 5 plus on a trailer or a tag along).

Riders under 18 will need a signed parental consent form and under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult. Entry fees for the fun ride are £5 per person, with 10% going to the Hope Centre charity in Northampton.

For those with more cycling experience, there is also a 40-mile route and an 80-mile route.

All three routes start and finish from Delapre Abbey in Northampton and have been designed by the team behind the Aviva Women’s Tour cycling event which visits the county in June.
