Shrek Jr is a great chance for young performers to join a whimsical journey to the Kingdom of Far Far Away. Participants can enjoy a morning of creativity and fun, exploring the enchanting world of Shrek through storytelling, music, and dance. Whether singing, dancing, or acting, there’s a role for everyone in this magical adventure celebrating friendship, acceptance, and being true to oneself.

VCL Summer Youth Project 2026

Over two exciting weeks, our talented young performers will come together for the much-anticipated VCL Summer Youth Project.

During this intensive rehearsal period, they will build skills, confidence, and friendships as they work collaboratively to create an unforgettable production. From first read-through to final curtain, the cast will dedicate themselves to bringing energy, creativity, and passion to the stage.

The project culminates in two fantastic performances on Saturday 15th August at the beautiful The Old Savoy – Home of The Deco Theatre.
