A Wonderland of talent for Deco’s Spring Panto

Lesley Ash, who rose to national fame in the 1990s BBC sitcom ‘Men Behaving Badly’, will be among the stars appearing in Spring Panto at The Deco Theatre, in April.

The Deco is putting on two performances of Alice In Wonderland – on Wednesday, April 11 at 7pm, and Thursday, April 12 at 5pm – with Lesley, who has also appeared in TV’s Holby City among a long list of other credits, appearing as the Queen of Hearts.

She will be joining former Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler as Alice, with her new dog, Sully, while children’s TV legend Dave Benson-Phillips will play the Mad Hatter. Also in the show are comic Ryan Greaves, and Panto dame Phylip Harries.

“It’s very exciting that Lesley Ash is coming to The Deco, she achieved iconic status as one of the four key characters in the fantastic ‘Men Behaving Badly’ back in the 1990s, but she is an accomplished performer of stage, screen and Panto, and she’ll be brilliant,” said Jill Roach, House Manager at The Deco. “But it’s a great cast, and we’re looking forward to putting on another great show for the people of Northampton.

“This is the third year we’ve done Spring Panto, and it’s always been very enthusiastically supported and enjoyed by our audiences, and we’re all looking forward to doing it again – it’s a great afternoon or evening out for all the family during the Easter Holidays.”

As ever, everyone is welcome to come join the fun! For tickets, and more information, visit the website: http://thedeco.co.uk/event/alice-wonderland-easter-panto/ or call the Box Office on 01604 491005.
