What to expect when visiting the cinema

The theatre is going back to its roots for a special weekend journey down Memory Lane for the August Bank Holiday Weekend. A nostalgic weekend to remember the days of The Savoy, The ABC and finally Cannon Cinemas.

We’re showing 10 films from August 28th – 31st and we would love you to come and join us. We will be strictly adhering to the social distancing guidelines and the following procedures are in place:-

• All visitors will be expected to wear a face mask on arrival and whilst moving around inside of the theatre or café, once seated either in the auditorium or in the café masks can removed to enable you to at and drink, as the social distancing is set at 2m.
• All seats will be socially distanced.
• All bookings are to be made online.
• Contactless payment only when visiting our theatre.
• Sanitising stations are in place throughout the theatre – please use them.
• All staff are trained, and will be wearing PPE.
• Additional cleaning – we have invested in a fogging machine! This means that after use, our auditorium, and all our meeting rooms, undergo extensive sanitising .

SEATING

IN THE STALLS

• There will be socially distanced tables for groups of 4–6 people as well as disabled seating.
• Waitress service – You will be able to order a selection of food to your table, including a cheese and antipasti platters, or afternoon tea, as well as drinks including buckets of bottled beer, wines and small bottles of spirits, along with cans of soft drinks.

IN THE CIRCLE

• If you choose to sit in the circles upstairs, there will be two seats kept free either side of your group, as will three seats in front, and three behind each individual.

We will also be selling tubs of ice cream, and calypsos, during the interval.

THE GOLDEN GLOBE CAFE

Our newly opened Golden Globe café, is now opens and will be serving hot and cold drinks, a selection of snacks, including pizzas, hotdogs, candy floss, popcorn and more. Again, we have organised this to respect social distancing, and all orders will be taken via our table service.
